Typical expenses include the speaking fee, audio & visual expenses (if not provided at your event venue), and travel costs such as airfares, accommodation, meals and transport. CHP books many speakers who quote all-inclusive fees to make your budgeting process easy.
Speaking fees are a combination of how well known the chosen speaker is, the amount of travel required to attend the presentation and the length of the engagement. For this reason, local presentations are frequently less expensive that assignments requiring the speaker to travel.
CHP has a top database for affordable speakers, including many in the $1,500-$5,000 category.
Chris Hawkins Promotions will work with you to arrange a mutually acceptable replacement speaker. With access to many great speakers Australia wide and a solid web of relationships with agents throughout Australia, CHP can take the worry out of a last-minute cancellation.
After selecting your speaker, CHP will send you a letter of agreement for your event. This document will include the name of your chosen speaker, the event details, travel and accommodation arrangements and CHP's cancellation policies. CHP will work closely with you right up to the day of the event to ensure all arrangements run smoothly.
Many speakers allow audio or video recording at no additional charge but some may charge an additional fee or not permit recording. Discuss your requirements with CHP in advance of choosing your speaker to ensure they meet all of your needs and there are no unexpected hiccups.
Many speakers will agree to attend a special event at no additional charge, and some will not. It is important to make your requests known to CHP in advance.
